This space saving model is perfect for training in limited spaces like Apartments, Dorm Rooms, etc. Unlike traditional Wooden Dummies / Mook Yan Jongs that require a lot of space, our “Half Dummy Series” only requires a 2’ by 4’ space on a wall. This is our newest model and it comes with a leg. As always our Wooden Dummies are constructed using traditional measurements for the trunk, arms, and leg. Each arm is 12” long with offset tendons. Traditional dummies usually have staggered arms where the left arm is usually higher than the right arm. With our dummy you can choose to have the arms staggered or level simply by rotating one of the arms giving you even more flexibility and training options over the competition. Our arm tendons measure 1.5″ by 2″ for superior strength and durability. The distance between the top lower shaft and the bottom arm shaft is 8.5”. The trunk body is 48″ long, 9” wide, and 4 1/2″ deep. It’s half of a full circle. And the frame measures 47.5″” long by 22” wide. Total weight is approximately 55 pounds. All frame hardware is included.

I just received this dummy via UPS and it is exactly what I expected. Great quality and a beautiful piece of craftsmanship! Initially, I was worried that the half dummy option wouldn’t be durable enough for a few years of hard training, but those worries are put to rest after seeing how well made this is. Also, i would have gone 4 stars at first because I was a little confused on how to assemble, but Shaolin House also outdid themselves in Customer Service and gave me a personal touch that was a pleasant surprise! I will always get my Wing Chun training gear from here if I can!
