Product Description
If you’re looking for the ultimate wall mounted Ving Tsun dummy, this is it! This is the very same wooden dummy model that we use here at the Fort Myers Ving Tsun Academy to train with. Unlike our other wing chun dummy frames, this one is designed so that the dummy AND the slats move together over the actual frame supports. This particular mounting style will increase your overall power development when working on the Muk Yan Jong because you’re moving more mass with additional friction from the contact points of the frame. The spring, feel, and feedback that this model provides the practitioner with is like no other dummy on the market. It’s absolutely perfect. And if you prefer a lot more spring resistance all you have to do is mount the uprights a little closer together. With its low profile frame that only comes off of the wall by 12 inches you’ll have room to spare for additional training devices etc. The frame is made out of Oak Hardwood and can be adjusted to fit into virtually any space. It measures 12 inches deep and 68 inches tall. The cross slats are 2 3/4″ tall, 1 wide, and 66″ long
As with all of our full sized Ving Tsun dummies this model is made with the exact same construction method and lamination process. The core of the dummy body is made out of dense heavy Southern Yellow Pine and is wrapped with 1 1/2″ of furniture grade Red Oak Hardwood. The leg and arms are also constructed using 100% Oak. The dummy body alone weighs approximately 85 pounds and the entire assembled unit weighs 150 pounds.

Chuck Stanton – :
This is one of the finest Muk Jongs that I’ve owned. The arms have the correct spread and feel, and the entire dummy is built in a heavy duty fashion. This is a great example of how a wooden dummy should look and function. My only complaints are that the dummy was slightly lighter in color than in the pictures on the website. It’s not a lot lighter (maybe just a shade) but I was trying to match the stain to a piece of furniture in our Den for the wife. They’re pretty close but not exact. This could have even been my monitors settings. It would be great if they offered free wood swatches to customers. My other issue is that the dummy didn’t come with stopping blocks to mount on the cross supports. Not a big problem though, just built my own out of a 1 inch thick piece of oak that I got from the Home Depot. Total cost was about $3. Hey Shaolin House, If you guys monitor these reviews then please start adding the stopping blocks to your dummies, this would save your future customers from having to make their own. Other than that the dummy is perfect. Thanks Guys, Chuck Stanton – Elite Martial Arts – CA.
